Imagine someone handing you knowledge, handing you a book with nearly any question that you might ever ask about nearly anything growing up as a child? Imagine having a book like that as an adult to help your own children with the knowledge you didn't get while growing up? Perhaps, this is the idea behind fully illustrated question and answer style encyclopedias.
If you can imagine such a thing, well, then let me tell you that it already exists. And I'd like to take this opportunity to recommend just such a book for you to read and own:
"Question and Answer Encyclopedia; More Than 1000 Questions and Answers to Things You Want to Know" edited by Linda Sonntag and designed by Diane Clouting; Parragon Publishing 1998.
This wonderful book is perfect for anyone of any age and is broken down by major topics such as; Space and the Universe, Land, People, History, Science, Animals, Plants, Planet Earth, Human Body and the last section is for the master student; a question and answer quiz, and let me tell you, if you can pass, I'd sure like to know a human encyclopedia like you.
Indeed, I cannot think of a better book to buy for homeschooling or for a parent to buy so they can help supplement their children's education, when those kids come to them with questions. This book is fully illustrated and written in such a way that anyone can understand, it is a pleasure to have this book in my own library even as an adult. Consider buying a book like this for your own family.
