When Linda called last night, I was watching my favorite show on TV. It was a show I had been wanting to watch for a while, so I was glad that I was finally able to do so.
The show I was watching was a drama, and it was one of those shows that you can’t help but become invested in. I was already hooked on the story and the characters, so it was hard for me to put it on pause when Linda called.
I had to make a decision: should I answer the phone and risk missing out on the show or should I ignore the call and continue watching? I knew that Linda was calling for an important reason, so I chose to answer the phone.
I was glad that I did because Linda was calling to tell me some exciting news. She had gotten a job offer and wanted to share the news with me. I was so happy for her and it was great to be able to share in her joy.
Although I had to pause my show in order to answer Linda’s call, I’m glad that I did. It was important to be there for her in her moment of excitement and I’m glad that I was able to do that.
At the end of the day, it’s important to remember that sometimes you have to choose between two good things. In this case, I chose to be there for Linda and I’m glad that I did.
