Roof: What’s that machine, John? It looks like a printer but a bit bigger and sustained.

John: It’s a 3-D printer. I’ve just bought it.

Roof: 3-D printer? What’s it used for?

John: Well… It’s used for producing solid objects similar to the originals.

Roof: Really? For example?

John: You can make things like a cup, a spoon, or even a toy car.

Roof: Fantastic. Does that mean I can make my own things at home and save lots of money?

John: That’s right.

A food processor is a helpful electric appliance that is used in kitchens everywhere. It was not invented by a scientist, but by a French salesman called Pierre Verdon in the late 20th century. He saw his customers slice vegetables, grind spices, and blend dressings by hand. This inspired him to invent a machine that would do these jobs. Nowadays, the device is used for a variety of functions including kneading, chopping, blending, and pulverizing different types of ingredients needed for a meal. It really makes food preparation much easier and faster for the cooks.
