Attention
You can use the adverbs ‘now/ at the moment’ (now/at the moment) to question the above structure.
What is + he/ she + verb -ing + now/ at the moment? (What is he/she doing now/at the moment?)
What are + you/ they + verb-ing + now/ at the moment? (What are you/They doing now/at the moment?)
– The present continuous tense
- Affirmative: S + am/ is/ are + V-ing.
- Negative: S + am/ is/ are + not + V-ing.
- Question: Am/ is/ are + S + V-ing?
You use the Present Continuous to talk about an action that is going on at the present moment. When you conjugate verbs, the subject “I” goes with tobe “am”, the singular subject goes with tobe “is”, and the plural subject goes with tobe “are”.
